I have worked in spas, in-home visits, outside events like marathons and competitions, a chiropractor's office, and even in a brake factory on workers to reduce on the job injuries. I have worked on professional athletes, a vast array of amateur athletes, weekend warriors, stay at home moms, warehouse and factory workers, nurses, teachers, truck drivers, other massage therapists, all types of professionals, and even in a funeral home once. I began working with CrossFit athletes in 2012 in Northern Kentucky. I was fortunate to work with high level athletes that went to the CrossFit Games for several years. Their challenges provided a quick learning curve for me due to their constant and extreme workouts. At this time, I saw a lot of shoulder and hip injuries. I also began working with Ironman Triathlon athletes in 2012 in Louisville. Here I was able to get experience with injuries that needed quick and lasting results. These were injuries that ranged from plantar fasciitis, calf cramping, to neck pain due to hundreds of miles of cycling. During race day I was able to support the medical tent on various occasions and that was very enlightening. When the race was run during the brutally hot days in August, athletes cramping was a major issue that I had to handle quickly. They were put on a bag of fluids, but it simply takes too long for that to take effect when the body is cramping in multiple locations throughout the body. The when the race was moved to October, cramping was much less of an issue and shaking and shivering became the problem to solve. In this case, I had to relax and soothe the athlete as quickly as possible. That gave me a great appreciation for relaxation massage and how whether it you are an athlete or not, the mind and body have to be calm. It could be stress from work, family, money, life in general, or working out at an insane level. My goal is to help as many people feel better as possible. I want to help you and I want you to refer me to your friends and family. I work hard to study and bring the best possible game to help you perform at the highest level possible. Allow me to help your body heal and you will be happy you did.
